Doctor John Farnsworth is passionate about all aspects of general practice. He believes incorporating evidence based advances and multi-disciplinary teams into management provides the highest standard of care and can significantly help in preventing disease and keeping people vital in all stages of life. John enjoys being active and is regularly playing sports such as tennis and squash and hiking with his family in his free time. He emphasises the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and regularly encourages positive changes in consults. He also has an interest in skin cancer medicine and can provide full skin examinations, biopsies and simple excisions.

John underwent training in Adelaide, completing a Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University in 2018 and fellowship with the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2023. Prior to this he had an extensive career in financial services.
